In the past, I have worked as a teaching assistant at ETH Zurich (2011-2013), as lecturer for empirical research methods at Kaleidos Fachhochschule (2014-2017) and as Coordinator of teaching activities at the Chair of Energy Economics and Public Economics at ETH Zurich (2014-2022). In 2022 I completed the CAS in Higher and Professional Education.
Teaching Statement
Its important to me when teaching to foster and encourage skills and competencies including:
– critical reflection on assumptions, values, beliefs and biases;
– encourage students to shift perspectives, thinking-with different individuals, companies and the states perspective;
– facing complexity and ambiguity, for example the difference between models we discuss in courses and the complex reality that these models fail to reflect;
– being a non-perfect role model, that also makes mistakes.
